Description

Seclantás Adentro Lodge is our house in front of our vineyards. Created by architect Leonardo Yayo Pellegrini, the house preserves the stone walls of the original house that were restored by masons with local materials: wood from the trees on the farm, stones and sand from the river that runs at the bottom of the ravine... Its large windows and terrace allow you to appreciate the hills and vineyards. It is sufficiently equipped according to our comfort criteria to make your stay enjoyable. The kitchen has everything necessary for those who want to prepare simple meals. A grill on the patio completes it. The landscapes of the Valles Calchaquíes are unforgettable. Route 40 from La Poma to Cafayate is not paved, which makes the region really charming. Cachi, its square, its church and the museum are worth a walk. There are several restaurants that set up their tables in the open air at noon, serving local gastronomy dishes. Respectful of the vallisto spirit, the restoration of the colonial architecture of Seclantás, the square, the church and the main street breathes an atmosphere of authenticity. Seclantás is the cradle of the poncho. The stands are set up along the Camino de los Artesanos. It's an old local tradition. You can see the huge looms along this path. Another very pleasant walk is the visit to the Ascibí caves. And in the right season, the sighting of condor nests, as well as horseback riding through the hills. The town of Molinos, 17 km south of Seclantás, is another point of attraction, with its streets, its church and the Hacienda de Molinos, where the last royalist governor of Salta lived, now converted into a magnificent hotel. You can taste high-end gastronomy and singular local wines in its restaurant. The Indalecio Gómez Museum is also worth a visit. Still further south, half an hour from Molinos, the Bodega Colomé, proposes a visit to the exceptional James Turrell Museum, followed by lunch and wine tasting from the Bodega.
