While having a car is not absolutely necessary, it's nice if you want to see the sights and experience southern California fully. Drive to the beaches in 15 minutes, or to the mountains for snow in 2 hours. Explore nearby Palomar Mountain and state parks. Downtown San Diego is 15 minutes away if you want to take in a Padre game or enjoy city restaurants. My son and his wife live in the other part of this home. They speak fluent English and Spanish. They have 2 dogs in the fenced yard, and enjoy cooking, hiking, and outdoor activities. My husband and I live about 10 miles away and have owned a small business selling office furniture for over 20 years. This street has minimal traffic since it dead ends into a private swim club and park. We value integrity, honor, being open-minded, kindness, and reliability. And we value higher education (our family members all have degrees from universities, including 2 from SDSU). Stay for a few months or extend as long as you like. Our home can be your home.
