Sunny retreat on Salt Spring Island

Description

Our home is our sanctuary. Cozy, bright, and spacious, it's where we go to write, reflect and study. We love to cook, so our kitchen is modern and easy to work in with good appliances. There's lots of room, with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Upstairs has three bedrooms, a big kitchen, and a living room/dining room. Downstairs has two more bedrooms, a piano, and a pool table. We have two decks facing the forest, and a cozy propane fireplace for the winter (as well as a forced-air furnace). Our favorite part about our home is that it's right next to beautiful hiking trails and a short drive (or 40-minute walk) to a swimming beach and the ferry to Vancouver Island.
