"Oscar's Den" is wonderfully nestled in a quiet cul de sac, itself snuggled in a small, traditional hamlet surrounded by olive groves and vineyards in the heart of Tuscany. Comfortable, bright and spacious, with stunning views over the countryside come relax in our richly flowered garden (jasmine, wisteria, roses, citrus, lavender…) after days exploring the gems and secrets that have made Tuscany a worldwide dream destination. The house is located on two levels, with a wide, comfortable tiles stairwell that connects the two floors. The open plan kitchen-living room leads to the private garden, where you can enjoy meals indoors or under the olive tree. The upper floor has 2 large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, as well as a cozy "retreat" space where one can watch a movie, read a book or enjoy some resourcing alone time. This lovely, self catering flat is one of 3, independent flats in an converted old barn yard. Each flat and corresponding out door space is independent and completely private. Only the parking lot is shared with your neighbour and house manager, Dom. IMPORTANT : Our house is located in a small hamlet of private, mostly Italian families, in the outskirts of Montespertoli. The countryside is stunning, with incredible picture perfect light. A car is required to reach the house as there is no local transport. Montespertoli, Certaldo and Castelfiorentino are all within a 10/15 minute drive and have all amenities including supermarkets, pharmacies, cafés, doctors, vets, restaurants... Florence city center is a 40 minute drive from home, Siena and Pisa are about one hour away and the coast line is about 80 minutes away by car.
