We are a family of five who will be leaving our beloved home on the East Side of Providence for a semester abroad in Germany. We would love to rent our home fully furnished to someone who will be in Providence over the same period. The house was built in 1868 and has high ceilings, great living space and a gas fireplace in the kitchen for chilly winter mornings. Upstairs includes four bedrooms with 2 full beds, a twin bed, and twin bunk bed; a toddler bed and crib can also be set up if needed. There is a full bath upstairs and a 1/2 bath on the first floor. The small backyard contains a gas grill and fire pit as well as patio furniture for outdoor dining or relaxing. Space for two vehicles is available for driveway parking. The basement of the house contains a separate apartment currently occupied by a Brown Graduate student, who also sometimes uses backyard and grill equipment. Local grocery stores, restaurants and downtown Providence are walking distance, as are both Brown University and RISD.
