The room has a mini-fridge and microwave, and a toaster oven or hot plate may be used as well. There is no kitchen, so meal preparation must be simple. The bathroom sink is large and may be used to clean dishes, etc. Wonderful cafes, grocery stores, and retail stores of all kinds are a 5 - 10 minute walk in all directions. The best of both worlds - a quiet residential street in the most walkable and bike-able central area in Berkeley! UC Berkeley Campus is a 10 -15 minute walk, bus transit and rental bikes stations are less than a block away, BART subway stations are 1o-15 minute walk in either direction down Shattuck Ave. Double bed, sit/stand desk, ergonomic chair, wifi, skylight, bathroom with shower. The back garden is available as a shared space with owners (who mostly use front part of garden). A bench under the shade of a persimmon tree, a table that seats 4 in the rose garden, and large area with recliners behind the studio. Entrance to backyard is down our driveway, behind a locked gate.
