Farm house on Bainbridge Island in a rural setting with forest and creek.

I am a retired Tree Physiologist. My nephew and co-owner is a lawyer. This is my grandparents home built in 1905, It is on 3,8 acres but is adjacent to 22 acres of forest and a creek. It is on land homesteaded by my great grandparents in 1883. It has an orchard and small wetland. Seattle is across Puget Sound and is easy to reach via ferry. The home is unfurnished but we would consider furnishing it. It has one bathroom with a shower. The master bedroom is on the main floor. Two additional bedrooms are on the second floor which is accessed by rather steep steps. There is a lot of closet space. The main floor has a large kitchen with refrigerator, electric range and wood stove. There are also a dining room and living room on the main floor. We recently installed ductless heat pumps in the living room and two bedrooms. The house also has an oil furnace. There is a washer and a dryer on the enclosed porch. There is a two car garage. The house has its own well and we recently put in a new septic system. It is a very comfortable place in a very natural setting.
