This adorable cottage is located on the ground floor of our 1927 brick home, with creative touches in our 2017 renovation from parts of the original home. Beautiful decor and a peaceful courtyard with your own entrance. There's a queen bed in the very large bedroom, along with seating and a little computer desk on rollers for those who want to work from the chair or couch. It's fully outfitted with all housewares and linens, cookware, etc. Such a cute living / dining area with a sleeper (queen) sofa in the living room for guests. You'll enjoy true New Orleans living in this quiet neighborhood. Definitely in the city limits (not a suburb), but in a less-touristy area that affords a serene vibe and really friendly neighbors. Easy in and out of New Orleans, especially during Mardi Gras, when it's easy to get "land-locked" in other parts of the city during parade times. Uber is readily available, as are grocery deliveries, package deliveries and food delivery. All the best parts of city living, without any of the chaos of tourists and downtown noise. We are super close to Tulane. About 1 mile, bikeable and somewhat walkable. Farmer's Market is nearby every Tuesday and Saturday, grocery stores plentiful, JCC is great for an inexpensive gym and pool and many cultural additions to your daily life. You're going to love it here!
