There are handrails but no ramps, sorry - unfortunately the apartment is not wheelchair accessible. The unit opens to a small backyard which we will consider opening to tenants on a case by case basis. We're in a primarily residential area of Central Harlem, a quiet (for New York!) neighborhood setting, very close to a variety of subway lines. Harlem is the ideal location for those wanting to experience NYC without having to stay in the middle of it 24 hours/day - close to everything but yet quiet and with a great neighborhood feel that's hard to find elsewhere in Manhattan. Plenty of restaurants as well as 2 grocery stores within close walking distance; Whole Foods is one subway stop or a 15min walk away. We are a small family - 2 adults and a 4 year old. We live right upstairs and are looking for a quiet, responsible tenant. This is NOT a party house or for room mates. The unit is railroad-style with the bedroom in the middle so is practical only for an individual or a couple.
