Family-friendly home in north Oakland on a park, bikeable to UC Berkeley

Our home is a split-level 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom family-friendly home in North Oakland. The home currently has one bedroom with queen bed, and another bedroom set up for little kids. It's currently set up with a toddler bed and a twin that can convert to a bunk bed, but if you have two kids, we would be happy to help set things up in a way that works for your situation. Downstairs is a den that has a dedicated home office set-up (with strong wifi) on one side, and a large comfy couch and entertainment center on the other. We currently have it set up also with a weight bench, adjustable weights, and yoga mats, which could stay or go, depending on your interest. (Note that this space could potentially serve as a large bedroom with an ensuite, but it has doors that exit to the outside, so would probably not be suitable for little kids). We have young kids (they will be 3 and 5 years old at the time of rental), so if you'd like, we can leave the house can equipped with kid gear: high chairs, strollers, children's tableware, and plenty of toys (MagnaTiles, trains, board games, etc), so you don't have to bring those. We have a good-sized backyard with garden, hammock, BBQ, and outdoor eating and lounging spaces. There are also string lights and a heating tower for cozy nights outside. The garden area includes several fruit trees and raised beds, which you'd be very welcome to! If you're interested, we have strider bikes and scooters for little kids, and could make adult bikes available as well! Location: Our house is located right on the edge of a park that has tennis/pickleball courts, baseball diamonds, soccer field, basketball court, and a little playground and rec center. On the far side of the park is an elementary school, and there is a middle school less than a mile away. Within a 15 minute walk is the public library, some great local parks and playgrounds, a Trader Joes, a Whole Foods, and just about every type of restaurant you can imagine. We're located in North Oakland (a few blocks from the Berkeley border), walking distance to charming Rockridge and vibrant Temescal neighborhoods, tons of great restaurants, libraries, shopping districts. UC Berkeley campus is less than 2 miles away, as are Berkeley's "Gourmet Ghetto", the rose garden, and Greek Theatre (an amazing outdoor music venue). We're also steps away from several local bus lines, and 15 minutes walk to BART (regional commuter rail) from which you can travel to San Francisco in half an hour. Beyond the neighborhood, it's just a few miles drive to the beach, the woods, or the beautiful Oakland and Berkeley Hills, and of course the myriad cultural, culinary, and musical offerings of Oakland and San Francisco. The home is also well situated for day trips to wine country, the Marin Headlands, Muir Woods, Pt Reyes, Mt Tamalpais, Mt Diablo, and lots of other natural beauty.
