Beautiful seafront flat. Take all Edinburgh offers at this unique and tranquil seafront apartment, with breathtaking views of Arthur’s Seat, the Pentlands and Portobello beach. This charming flat is situated in one of the highest skylines in Edinburgh, built in the 50s, and redesigned with a modern style with a beach atmosphere to make everyone feel welcome. It’s in front of the bus stop with direct buses to the city centre in 25-30 min. Free parking space! The kitchen is fully equipped, and all taps are electric - careful for boiling water. Since the kitchen has been vegan, let me know if you are a meat eater to set up the utensils for you. The bedroom is very cosy, with a wide working station and plenty of room for those who pack with extra options - as Edinburgh weather can be pretty unpredictable! There is one extra futon that fits on the floor for an extra guest. The shower and taps are electric and water can get very hot (be careful). The kitchen tap is a Quooker tap, which makes tea time so much easier and faster. The building has a garden with a dining area for picnics. You will be in close proximity to all the amenities of the Portobello commercial area (walking distance). Crossing the road, you will find the promenade where it's easy to find charming coffee places, a pub, an arcade, the traditional fish and chips and one of the best pizza joints in town. The area also offers fantastic pubs, restaurants, cafes, bookshops and artistic routes. If you are travelling with kids, the area also has many parks, playgrounds and soft play at a walkable distance. The flat is a non-smoking space, including the bedroom (no smoking close to the window, please). The bedroom is equipped with a small double bed and an extra thick futon. Bed and bath linen is provided and washed at 60°. I love animals, but this flat is not pet-safe and cannot accommodate pets. No parties. Many plants in the flat.
