Our apartment is pretty unique. It is the former caretakers flat of a small housing complex, quietly located back yard ground floor, surrounded by the gardens of the complex, neighbors pass quite close to the windows, but that's how we know our neighbors very well. We are both university professors at architecture faculties, live in the apartment with our two children (6mths and 5 yrs), we love our books, the flat, our neighbors and the neighborhood. The apartment, pragmatically furnished with selected pieces, has two bedrooms sleeping three comfortably, living room, five year old fitted kitchen, fully equipped, 1970’s bathroom, wide and bright wall to wall windows, highspeed internet. The apartment is centrally located, close to U-Bahn Schönleinstraße (U8) in the heart of vibrant Kreuzberg. U-Bahn, Supermarkets, organic food stores, a department store, cinemas, plenty of international restaurants, the fruit and vegetable market at Maybachufer, Landwehrkanal, Hasenheide are all walking distance. We rent out the apartment during October 2023, while we are staying in Venice for a scholarship. Since the apartment is our own home, and in a pretty perfect condition (ok, ok, ok, the bathroom has its flaws), we would like to know a bit about yourselves, who you are, what you do, how you live...
