Description
The NorthStar is our hideaway home near the Hudson River. As a writer I love to walk along the river and think. There isn't a season when the changing landscape of the Hudson doesn't delight and inspire me. My family loves to cook, as such the kitchen is fully stocked, there are plenty of plates and platters, pots and pans etc for you to really settle in. And none of the clutter or mess found in a daily kitchen. The beds are new and soft, the blankets and towels plush. And when inspiration needs more than the ten min walk to the river, it's just a ten min ride hot doughnuts, a great book store, wonderful restaurants and other fascinating towns in the valley. After spending personal retreat time there this winter, I am offering the house at a discounted price for academics, writers and artists who may need a little soul restoration of their own.

Comments: Our 1875 brick house is on the Empire State Trail. Steps from the Hutton Brickyards, the Kingston beach and scenic riverside rail trail. A quick jaunt will take you to the revitalized waterfront or historic stockade district.

Comments: Our house is a snug haven, close enough to be near the city and universities within 40 mins and steps away from lovely trail walks. The kitchen is fully stocked. Plenty of linens, laundry room available and a work space.

Comments: You will need a car to get around Kingston but we have plenty of parking. The house is very dog friendly, with bowls, blankets, towels and beds. You are steps from the dog park, but our yard is not fenced in.
