I am away on regular research trips and I’m looking to rent my flat out during these frequent periods It’s a large, modern (late 1980s) one-bedroom flat in a three-storey block that is located in a quiet and secure cul-de-sac: the surrounding Islington neighbourhood is lively and fun. It is minutes away from Caledonian Tube station, and there are shops, restaurants, café, two large parks and a football stadium (Arsenal) nearby. Camden and Dalston are easily accessible thanks to the excellent buses and Overground links. You can cycle to Bloomsbury – I often walk, and it takes less than 30 minutes. The flat itself is lovingly furnished, with all the expected amenities. For most of the year I live there: this is my home; it comes with a certain amount of lived-in personality, and so I’m looking for guests who would treat the place with respect and be comfortable around my books and other effects. Obviously I’d make available ample storage and wardrobe space. One final thing to note. The flat is situated next to the mainline East Coast rail service. The sound of trains passing during the daytime has never bothered me, but it may be a drawback for some

Comments: Zone 2: well served by the Piccadilly line, Overground services and good buses. Near a large park and all the local conveniences. A short walk or cycle into Bloomsbury.
