Charming centrally located Paris apartment with rooftop views

Our Paris flat is centrally located in the old Latin quarter just 20 minutes walk from the Notre Dame and 10 minutes from the Pantheon. You will walk almost everywhere through some of the loveliest streets of the old city. We are just minutes from the Mouffetard street market, however we are in a quiet pedestrian street without any cars. The apartment is on the top floor of a four-story 200 hundred year building (revovated!) and you will have to walk up four flights of stairs to get to it but it will be worth it as it has heaps of charm and is bright and comfortable with a lovely view over Paris tiled rooftops. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, boutique shops and every food shop you could wish for- several cheese shops, bakeries, butchers, chocolateries, organic foods, fishmongers and two supermarkets within five minutes walk of home. But perhaps you prefer the Luxembourg gardens (15 minutes) or the Botanic Gardens (Jardin des Plantes) with its Menagerie just 10 minutes away. However this is a real 'quartier' of Paris where people will get to recognise you after a few days and is not overrun by crowds of tourists. The apartment can sleep up to five people but as it only has one bathroom it is more comfortable for one to three people. As there is an unprotected staircase it isn't suitable for small children. There are two small built-in desks, one in each bedroom. Some of the roofs are sloping and it is important to be careful not to bump your head: especially a concern for tall people! There is a miniature grand piano in the living room which can be played for short periods during the day, although it hasnt been tuned recently.
