Enjoy our spacious and family-friendly two-bedroom home in the heart of north Brooklyn. You will find everything the borough has to offer a few steps away and many things you didn't expect inside, like a fully finished spacious basement, a peaceful and fully renovated backyard, a private entrance, and a washer and dryer. Your stay will be comfortable and convenient whether you are visiting New York for the first time or are seasoned citizens of the city. Walk into our warm two-bedroom apartment and get a feel for that Brooklyn charm with an exposed brick wall in the open living, dining and kitchen spaces. Then make your way out the back door to get some fresh and quiet air in our green and tree-filled back yard. Did you ever expect to hear birds chirping while staying in Brooklyn? The front bedroom has two single beds, a dresser and closet, while the back bedroom has a queen-sized bed with dresser and closet. This floor is finished with a full bath that includes a wonderful spa shower head and jetted tub. Downstairs you will find a huge private finished basement with washer and dryer, a desk and chair area and plenty of room for kids to play, as well as another full bath with a spacious shower. This apartment is located in a very walker-friendly area, with huge and beautiful Herbert Von King Park a few blocks away. Pass your choice of coffee shops on the way or go the other direction a few blocks and you'll be at the subway with easy transit to the rest of Brooklyn and Manhattan. There is a gourmet grocery store two blocks away, as well as many bars and restaurants. There is a good vibe to our hood with plenty to explore. Street parking is easy (but be sure to read the "Alternate Parking Rules" carefully!). My family lives in the house right above the apartment, and we will generally be available in person for any questions or requests. We are happy to let our visitors be alone if they prefer, but we also enjoy meeting new people if they like to socialize. Our kids are also eager friend-makers!
