We love our beachside home, with ocean views and a huge garden including veges, fruit trees, trampoline and jungle gym. THE HOUSE Unique 1970s design with many original features. Three bedrooms, main with walk in robe and ocean views. Second bedroom has a single bed and large desk, third bedroom has a bunkbed and large desk. Lots of toys, books and games. Two living rooms, one opens onto the dining room with ocean views at one end and a covered outdoor dining area at the other. At the back is another living room with a TV and more games. At the front there is another room which we use as an office, it has a large table which fits both of us comfortably back to back. Downstairs with its own entrance is a separate studio/granny flat. LOCATION Coogee beach was voted in the top 15 beaches across all of Australia last year. It has crystal clear waters and is protected by Cockburn sound. A five minute walk from our house takes you to the middle of a 300metre shark net (very popular for people training for ocean swims). Walk a couple of minutes to the left, and there's a big jetty which is often used for fishing, and the kids love to jump off. Further along is the Coogee Surf Life Saving Club and beyond that Woodman Point regional park and Jervoise Bay sailing club. Or if you turn right, you can snorkle the Omeo wreck and maritime trail. A little further along is the new Port Coogee development, with shops, cafes and a marina. On our doorstep is Manning Park, and for foodies Coogee Common. We're a short drive, bus ride or cycle to the vibrant port city of Fremantle.
