Looking for someone to take over the lease on my studio apartment. Ideal for an individual who is teaching or working on the University of Texas at Austin campus, St David's Medical Center, Dell Medical complex or at other area businesses and area universities. Near to the Hancock Recreation Center and Golf Course. This is a cozy and efficient studio apartment that overlooks the pool area with a separate kitchen area that has a dishwasher and an electric stove/ oven and good cabinet space. There is a large dressing room that can accommodate a good size dresser or chest of draws with ample storage space and a wrap round top shelf. Bathroom has a shower/ tub with above toilet cabinet and below sink cabinet. Main front room is easily arranged into designated living room, dining, and bedroom areas. The complex is clean, quiet, with a pretty and well-appointed pool area with covered cabanas, couches, lounge chairs, grill and fire pit patio and another recreation area with outdoor workout equipment. There is a laundry room with several washer and dryers and designated parking areas. The front office is wheelchair accessible, but the rest of the complex is not. There is one entrance that is level with the road/ parking area but there are a few steps up to the first floor at the other entrance points. The apartment is on Red River Street near the northeast corner of the University of Texas at Austin campus (8-minute walk from campus), close to the St David’s Medical Center. It is a short walk to the Hancock Recreation Center and Golf Course and the Hancock Shopping Center. The number 10 bus stop is right in front of the apartment complex that takes you directly on and through the university campus and down through the downtown Austin city area. Lease takeover for 3 months, available from May 1st to July 31st, 2024 (can be available as early as April 15th, 2023, if needed). The rent is $1,370 per month plus utilities. Standard application fee $50.00. Additional pet fee. I have moved out of state. The complex manager has agreed that I can have someone take over the lease. If at the end of the lease period, you are interested in staying, you may be able to sign a new lease with the property management.
