Our fully furnished townhome is ideally located in Old North Boulder, a 15-minute walk to the Pearl Street Mall and an easy bike ride to the CU campus. Ideal Market, the North Boulder Recreation Center, and North Boulder Park are all just a couple blocks away, and bike and hiking trails are nearby. We think it's a perfect location. The two-bedroom home is full of light and feels larger than it is because of the floor-to-ceiling windows and high ceiling in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size refrigerator, a conduction range, a microwave, and a toaster oven. The stacked washer and dryer are also in the kitchen. All dishes, utensils, cookware, bedding, and towels are included. The two bedrooms and one bath are on the second floor. One bedroom has a full-sized bed and a balcony, and we use the second bedroom, which has a queen-sized sofa-bed, as our office and TV room The south-facing patio includes a gas grill and a table that seats eight. The home is not air-conditioned, but there are ceiling fans in the living room and fans in the bedrooms. The south-facing windows and wide overhang ensure that the townhome is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. My husband and I are originally from Colorado and love to spend our summers in Boulder where we enjoy biking and hiking in the nearby mountains. We are both retired architects and were attracted to the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired design of this unusual mid-century townhouse with its large windows and double-height living room. The townhome is part of a uniquely designed 10-unit complex built in 1962. We will rent for no less than six months but will consider renting for up to a year. Utilities are included in the rent, as well as high-speed internet and monthly cleaning. We will ask for references, one month's damage deposit, and renter’s insurance. We hope to find a tenant who will appreciate our home’s design, furnishings, and art and take good care of it.
