A perfect location to walk country roads, hike the Canadian Shield wilderness, swim or paddle one of the 5,000 lakes in the region. Your apartment is one of three in a restored century brick building on the Main Street. Suite 1 - The Explorer, is a sunny one bedroom with tall ceilings. Writers love this apartment. It is equipped with everything you need including a generous writing table overlooking the Main Street. A comfortable double bed, open plan living, kitchen, dining, office space. Full size fridge, stove and all cooking/eating equipment you need to be self sufficient. Hi speed unlimited wifi. Free parking. This suite is a walk up located on the second floor. Tamworth has a grocery store, drug store, hardware store in the village. More shops and restaurants are open from May to October. The Corner Restaurant is a classic small restaurant with a lunch counter. A destination for a dish of local culture. Napanee is 25 minutes away and is our closest major town for restaurants, other commercial needs and a laundry mat. Bike’s and paddle crafts are available. Tamworth has a very dark sky. This made it a prime location for our Dark Sky Viewing Area. Located by legendary Canadian Terrence Dickinson himself.
