Bright spacious 2-bed apartment in Astoria

I work and am a graduate student (women and gender studies) at CUNY Graduate Center in midtown. My partner is a photographer. We are both from London and so are going back to visit our family over the holiday period. We really love our apartment, having moved here last year and already really feel like it's home. It's a wonderful quiet place to work and have guests (we have a big dining table) but also it's near lots of great places to eat (from any part of the world!). We are also about a 25 minute walk from Jackson Heights. Astoria Park which has incredible views of the city and is really nice to walk/run around is also a 25 min walk way (or short bus ride). The apartment is in a small apartment building (only 6 flats) and feels very safe. I often come home late at night and have had no problems at all. We have a little guide for lots of great places in the area as we have had many guests before and want to make sure you feel right at home! The main living area is an open-plan dining/living/kitchen which is very spacious. The bedrooms and bathroom are behind and so feels very private and is quiet (neither bedrooms look onto the street). The apartment is equipped with everything you need including dishwasher, oven, stove etc. There is also plenty of storage and we will make sure to make as much space as you need for your things (both rooms have built in storage). As mentioned, we use the second room as an office and is set up that way. If you do want to have other people stay, we have a really comfortable airbed that is queen sized. If you have a bicycle that you want to bring, there is a secure facility to lock it up in the basement.
