Looking for a short (three months) home exchange during the spring quarter

I am moving to Los Angeles or Riverside with my 4 year old kid and we want to get there and get to know the city and areas first before committing to a neighborhood. So ideally we would like to spend the spring quarter there in a furnished place and only in the summer start looking for houses to do our moving. We live in a beautiful apartment in the north coast of Colombia, right in front of the sea, next to Barranquilla in a small town called Puerto Colombia (mostly a surfing town, small and quiet, great for surfing if you like it!). The apartment is spacious and comfortable (two floors, three rooms, four bathrooms, and on the fourth floor of a building on a mountain, so the view of the ocean from our balcony is spectacular). It's one block walking distance from the beach. You can also use our car if you stay here (nissan ventra, 2 years old, perfect conditions). And it has several supermarkets and a pharmacy one block away. Air conditioning in all the rooms and wifi.
