Hi there! We are renting our beautiful, bright and spacious Berlin apartment from February till August 2024. With 3 bedrooms, an office and two bathrooms it's perfect for a family. We are located in the picturesque "Kaskelkiez" (Victoriastadt) just east of Ostkreuz, one of Berlin's central public transport hubs. The area has many beautiful old buildings, quiet streets, a few small shops and restaurants, as well as several of playgrounds. Trains from the nearest train station (5 mins walks) take you directly to Berlin's city centre; and you are away only a few minutes by foot or bike from Berlin's lively Friedrichshain district, with plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops, arthouse cinemas, plenty more playgrounds and a fantastic farmers' market on Saturdays. A short walk southwards takes you to the waterfront of Rummelsburg Bay, and further on to Treptower Park, a green oasis on Berlin's river Spree. The apartment is on the 4th floor of a modern building (built in 2019) and has plenty of amenities: wooden floors (underfloor heating), floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of light, two balconies (east and west) with expansive views, as well as use of the common backyard with a deck, sandbox, lawn and fire pit. The layout of the apartment is centered around a large open floor plan kitchen, with a bar, a dining area (with a large built-in bench and an expandable wooden table that can seat up to 12 people) and a large living room with an expansive window front leading to a balcony. There is one master bedroom with a large built-in closet, two children's bedrooms (one of which doubles as an office) and one additional office with a sofa and a small table that can be used for breakfast in the morning sun. The apartment is fully furnished (including a dishwasher, washing machine, stereo, TV, WiFi, espresso machine, and a fully equipped kitchen) and also holds plenty of children's toys and books for your use, as well as children's bicycles if you are interested. Spacious and well-situated, our apartment is perfect for a family with young children coming to Berlin: It offers easy access to the city's universities and lively offerings while giving you a home base in a quieter neighborhood with little traffic (a playground and soccer field are accessible without having to cross a street) and plenty of playgrounds, park and water close by.
