If you are a visiting doctor, four of Ottawa's main hospitals are a 10 minute drive away. The entire house is approximately 2,700 square feet over three levels. The top floor is carpeted and has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a laundry room with new energy efficient washing machine and dryer.  The main bedroom has a large window facing the backyard, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in closet, shower, tub and linen closet.  The other two bedrooms are spacious, with one currently being used as a home office and the other as a shared kids room with a fun bunkbed.  These rooms have two windows each, and the other bathroom is located near them. The main floor is a bright, well designed multipurpose space with large windows at the front and back, and new patio doors welcoming you to use the backyard.  Colorful local art from the Ottawa Art Gallery brightens up the walls.  The sunken living room has two sofas and Scandinavian chairs, and the dining area comfortably seats 6-8. There is also a separate cozy fireplace room with a modern wood-burning stove, comfy sectional, and hidden TV / art display on the wall.  The study nook extends from this room, and faces the tree-lined backyard.  The backyard is large and quiet, with privacy fencing, Weber BBQ, wooden deck, dining table, and outdoor furniture for hosting. The fully updated kitchen with small eat-in area for kids has a high-end induction range with dual-ovens, and a lovely quartz counter top.  The ergonomic dual drawer dishwasher and new space saving fridge are both Fisher Paykel.  Pots, pans, dishes, etc. are all included. The main floor has a small, welcoming front entrance area with wooden bench, closet and plenty of hooks for your family’s gear.  It also includes a charming new powder room. The garage entrance and stairs down to the basement are located next to the powder room. We need to rent the house on a furnished basis.  We are hoping to find a family or professional couple who will stay the whole time we are away.
