One of the best neighborhoods in Berkeley, quiet and residential yet just a few blocks away from a vibrant city street filled with shops and restaurants and public transportation to San Francisco. The house has a generous, open feel with large living rooms (upstairs and downstairs), a lovely dining room, cozy, light-filled bedrooms and a curving staircase. Our home has a lot of natural light and a deck upstairs that places you near treetops. The backyard is rustic - more undeveloped space than garden - with a creek running through it and deer frolicking. The house is a classic Craftsman style with built-in bookcase and buffet, elegant proportions and beautiful gumwood trim. We think you will love it.
