Our home retains its rustic charm but is comfortable for a family or two couples. The garden is a delight in warm weather, and the house has views over the lake/forest area below. Downstairs: kitchen, dining room with large doors to garden, living room with large fireplace (not usable at the moment but we are installing a wood stove), bathroom with bath/shower. Upstairs above dining area: two bedrooms, one loft area (140cm bed) and one enclosed (90cm bed). Upstairs above entry/living: master bedroom (160cm bed), smaller bedroom (110cm bed), toilet, bathroom with shower and washer/dryer. Third floor: large attic space for flexible use, office or studio. Parking is in the garden, or in the parking lot behind the church across the street. Two train station options at about 12 minutes driving distance: Villiers-Neauphle-Pontchartrain or La Verriere, with local trains to Paris. Bus stop 9 minute walk, plenty of grocery/shopping options at 5 minutes driving distance. Charm of village living with large town advantages nearby.
