The house is a very spacious beach house located on the stunning Australian coastline, between the cities of Sydney and Wollongong. It is just one hour drive south of the city of Sydney and 15 minutes north of Wollongong. The house has lovely views as is elevated on Sandon Point headland, between the majestic escarpment to the west and the Pacific Ocean to the east. The long living area and balcony face north towards the ocean and the sun (direction of sun in the southern hemisphere), The house is an older style Australian beach house, with large bed rooms and a large near new kitchen with plenty of storage space. The house was freshly painted and carpeted about 18 months ago. The living room is very big and runs the whole length of the house, as does the adjacent elevated balcony. There is one undercover garage on the property, and a couple of old sheds in the backyard. The backyard itself is spacious. Please refer to the photos for more detail. The gorgeous little surf towns of Thirroul and Bulli are 5-10 minutes’ drive in either direction, and the supermarket is 20 minutes walking distance. The house is located directly between Bulli and Macauley beaches (the latter being an off-leash dog beach). Sandon Point is a sacred site for First Nation people and has extensive rockpools teeming with sea life. The point and the beaches are all only 10 minutes’ walk from the house or 2 minutes in the car. Express trains run frequently between Thirroul and Sydney and take about 1 hour 20 minutes. There are many beautiful hiking trails nearby, and several salt water sea baths within easy distance walk. Birds and nature are everywhere, and horse riding is not far away. Pets are negotiable.
