Description

The house has a spacious living area and outside there are places to sit and admire the view of the ancient monastery and surrounding countryside with vineyards, olives and woodland . The terrace with a table and chairs for dining leads directly into the large living area with an open fireplace and small open plan kitchen. A double bedroon faces onto the garden. There is an additonal bedroom with two single beds that can be united. A third room has a desk and small sofa for those who need a quiet retreat. There are no shops in the village so a car is essential to reach the nearest shops, 3km at the bottom of the hill, or the market towns of Greve and Tavarnelle, both 8km away. Florence can be reached in 30 , Siena 45 mins. We live above the stables in the old farmhouse and are ready to help with local tips and advice when needed.
