Just steps from both the bustle of 14th Street and the DC USA Shopping Center on one side, and from the local restaurants, cafes and shops of Mt Pleasant on the other, the apartment is tucked away in a quiet, clean building with friendly neighbors. Close to Rock Creek Park for exercise, and the Mt Pleasant public library offers a free, beautiful workspace nearby. Local restaurants offer affordable and varied options for easy meals. We have an assigned parking spot at the back of the building. We are looking for a fellow academic or researcher (or a couple, or single parent or couple and child--we stay in the space in each of these iterations!) who will enjoy the neighborhood and appreciate and take care of our home during their stay.
