My husband and I are splitting our time between Portugal and NYC. He's a chef, and I'm a writer/editor. We have three cats, and we'll be taking them with us. Pets are allowed in the building, so a subletter can bring pets. We will lock our bedroom, but the rest of the fully finished and appointed apartment will be for exclusive use. The building walls are thick, so the apartment is very quiet. It's not suitable for parties, but the neighborhood has amazing restaurants and nightlife. We'd love to find someone who will care for the space as we do. The furnishings and fixtures are high end (e.g., Design Within Reach, Calligaris, Area Home, Rejuvenation), and we're finishing a light renovation. The 12" full-size mattress is new and very comfortable. The space has a very welcoming and comfortable feel. A table in the living room works as a desk or for dining. We will update the photos when the light renovation finishes at the end of January.
