Cosy, colourful ground level townhouse in a close-knit friendly community. Waterfront location right on the seawall on South False Creek, an outdoor lovers paradise in the heart of Vancouver! Spectacular views of the ocean and mountains. Paths for walking, biking, jogging right outside the door. Our comfortable home is just over 1000 square feet and is filled with original artworks and a huge library of books. There are hardwood floors throughout most of our living space. Three separate glass sliding doors open to bring the ocean breezes inside and to take you outside: one opens from the living room into the front yard where you can sit with your drink of choice and watch the world go by; one opens from the kitchen into the backyard; and one opens from the main bedroom into the backyard garden. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed and walk in closet. The guest nook/den is just off the living room and provides a cosy spot for overnight guests. All linens and towels provided plus towels and a picnic bag for the beach! There is a separate office which includes a printer for your use. We have an open and efficient kitchen which includes an island and two chairs for those who wish to chat with the cooks -or perhaps help out. We have an in-home washer and dryer. You can enjoy our private backyard with many pots of flowers, a patio set and a BBQ. Our home is just a 10 minute walk to world-renowned Granville Island and False Creek Community Centre, restaurants, cafés, groceries, art galleries and more. The colourful False Creek ferries can take you across the water in minutes to Downtown, Yaletown, Science World, and more. This is a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood with lots of parks nearby. An underground parking spot is available on request. We are located just a few minutes walk to transit and have easy access to UBC, SFU Downtown Campus, and Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
