This stone cottage is on the corner of a quiet street in beautiful Weston, Massachusetts, which is known for its extensive woods and walking trails. Located under 10 minutes to Routes 90 and 95, the home offers easy access to the greater Boston area and New England, as well as many private schools in the area. The public school system is excellent as well. I will be on sabbatical for about a year and am looking for a respectful renter that will relish the quiet atmosphere of my cherished home. Be advised that the ceilings in the home are quite low-- this doesn't bother my family but taller folk may find themselves feeling a bit, well, taller than usual. The house is well-heated with two zones (upstairs and downstairs). The second floor HVAC is an heat pump that also an air conditioner. All appliances and systems are in good working order. The two-car garage is not attached to the house, but sits at the end of the driveway, about 100 feet from the back door. The first floor has a kitchen that extends into a dining area and large living room. The first floor also has two full baths and two rooms that can be used as offices. (One has a murphy bed that can be folded down for extra sleeping space.) The bathroom closest to the back door and kitchen has a washer and dryer. The second floor has a master bedroom with full bathroom (also accessible from the hallway), a guest room with a convertible sofa, and an additional bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. A narrow room off of the back of the master can also be used as office space.
