We are spending our 2024-2025 sabbatical in Berlin and are looking for a good fit to enjoy our home in Libby Heights, a family-friendly neighborhood in central Gainesville within walking distance of schools, parks, and recreation and an easy bike ride to the university. The house features 4 large bedrooms and 2 renovated bathrooms, hardwood floors throughout, a screened pool (with child/baby gate), a Florida room adjacent to the pool, the original 1960s kitchen (a bit worn but roomy and functional) with a new induction stove and including kitchenware, and an ample front and side yard with a fire pit. Please note that the yard is not completely fenced. The neighborhood is full of many UF faculty and families with children, and we have loved living here. The kids especially enjoy walking to the playground at Albert Massey Park and taking tennis lessons down the street at the 300 Club. It is a great house and a great community. We have plenty of toys, bikes, cribs, and other baby equipment that we can provide as needed. The monthly rent includes utilities, internet, yard service, and pool service.
