Description
Year-long sublease available for my NYC studio apartment, with an option to renew. 20-minute walk to NYU. Prefer another faculty member (like me), or will consider graduate students. No undergraduates. The apartment is great -- larger than most NYC studio apartments, uncluttered, clean, quite. The windows face south, so it's sunny in the daytimes. Top floor of a 5-story building (walkup only, no elevator). The building is well-maintained (super lives in the building) and friendly. Potential renters must receive our building's Coop Board approval, which includes a check on finances and references from previous landlords.

Comments: This is a fifth-floor (European 6th floor) "walk-up" apartment. Stairs only, no elevator. Mine is a top floor apartment, with high ceilings (16 feet). Quiet sanctuary in a vibrant safe neighborhood.
