Description
Our family will be spending roughly 2 months in Berkeley, CA this summer and we would love to open our home to visiting scholars or incoming students/faculty while we are away. Our 1.5 story, 2-bed, 2 bath bungalow is full of light and charm. There are two bedrooms downstairs; one is currently set up for a toddler but that can be adjusted. We use the upstairs room as a den/office/guest bedroom, but it could easily be used as a third bedroom. Our house is located on a quiet, safe, and friendly block that houses other NU faculty and staff. Evanston and Chicago are easily accessible--our home is a block away from the CTA #201 bus stop, about a a mile from the South Boulevard purple line stop, and 1.25 miles from the Main St. Metra stop and the NU shuttle. It's a quick bike ride to campus and a nice walk to the lake.
