It's a really local area of London with excellent transport links, lots of nearby green spaces, shops, restaurants, pubs & cafes. We can share with you our favourite places to eat, visit and go out in around our house as well as local shops. We are a 5 minute walk to 1 big and 1 small supermarket where you can get everything you need to self cater. There are also some really good little fruit and veg shops nearby which we will recommend to you. We are very well connected. We are a 10-15 minute walk to 4 different stations, so you have a choice - Hither Green, Ladywell, Catford and Catford Bridge. From any of these you can get the train direct to Central London (Charing Cross, Waterloo, London Bridge, Kings Cross St Pancras) in 9 - 20 minutes. You can also get walk or take the bus to Lewisham station (20 minute walk, 5 minute bus) which has lots of regular trains to Central London including Victoria and the DLR for Greenwich and Canary Wharf. Please note we are not on the tube/underground - we are on the train line, it's nicer because you can see London as you travel! Buses stop just at the end of our road (3 mins walk) and you can get them to Lewisham for the DLR, to Greenwich Park and the Cutty Sark or all the way into Central or East London.
