Living in the Island of Burano

We are a couple of Venetian Architect (with one kid), who got to know about SabbaticalHomes through some colleagues working at UVA, where we currently are visiting professors. We are offering here our private house in the Island of Burano, in the middle of Venice Lagoon, where we have spent several years with lots of memories and good feeling. We are not able anymore to live there, due mainly to works commitments, but we would like to keep it alive. The house is still furnished with own objects and books (please use some care!). The house is independent and very well located in the island, lots of light and nice neighbours. It is finely restored, quiet, very welcoming. It has two bedrooms, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with dining, floor heating, AC, washing machine, dishwasher and all comforts (including a small canoe to explore Venice Lagoon on your own!) Living for a period in the island of Burano, in the middle of Venice Lagoon, is ideal to finally take some time away from noise, crowd and urbanisation. Yet you’ll be connected to Venice or airport by 24hrs service public ACTV water bus. Upon request, cleaning service will be also available, as well as some useful contacts with the local community. Preferred stay of 1 month, minimum one week.
