It is an 8-minute walk from Viau station (green line) and a 12-minute walk from Pie-IX station (green line and SRB). By public transport, you can reach the Université du Québec à Montréal in 20 minutes, McGill University and Concordia University in 30 minutes and the Université de Montréal in 50 minutes. The neighbourhood in which the studio is located, Maisonneuve, is a very pleasant place to live. There is a covered public market within a 5-minute walk, an artisanal bakery within a 1-minute walk, a fitness centre including a swimming pool (Olympic facilities) within a 10-minute walk and a large urban park (Maisonneuve Park and Montréal Botanical Garden) within a 15-minute walk. The appartment is also close to the recently renovated Maisonneuve Library and Rue Ontario, a lively shopping street that is pedestrianised in summer. The building is very quiet and has a large garden where you can read and enjoy a meal (barbecue available). There is a small balcony at the rear. The unit is well sound-insulated and you cannot hear the neighbours. It is also very bright, especially in the late afternoon. It overlooks the garden and offers a magnificent view of the Montreal Tower (Olympic Stadium). The studio has a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a large bathroom including a rain shower, and a large wardrobe. It is rented fully furnished, but it is possible to store some furniture at your convenience.
