Description
Our home is comfortable, full of light and peaceful. It has an eat-in kitchen that is great for cooking and entertaining. Adjacent to the kitchen is a small library and reading room, which leads out to a fenced back yard with a patio and fire pit...great for fall fires. There is a large living and dining room that leads out to a screened porch overlooking the back garden. Upstairs is a large bedroom with a king bed, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, a walk-in closet and a study complete with desk, shelves and printer. On the first floor there are also two smaller bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a twin daybed that expands to a queen. Both bedrooms share a full bathroom with a deep soaking whirlpool tub. There are lots of comfortable spaces for reading, and the house is full of original art. Madison and the UW-Madison campus are an easy drive. Madison is 3 miles from our house and UW-Madison is 5 miles.

Comments: Our home is in the country, but is 3 miles to Madison and about 5 miles to the UW-Madison campus. We live near a 1,000 acre park that has walking and bicycling trails, a boat ramp and cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails.

Comments: Utilities include gas, electric and internet. We use a wonderful cleaning service that we would be willing to continue, but would need to negotiate the rental price to cover it.

Comments: The house is set up so that the master bedroom is on the second floor, with an en-suite bathroom and study. The other two bedrooms are on the first floor, so this arrangement may not be suitable for very young children.

Comments: We have a screened in porch that overlooks the back garden and an outdoor patio with a fire pit. Great for fall fires. We also have ROKU on the TVs in the living room and upstairs bedroom that you can use with your apps.
