We are Vanderbilt professors on leave for the 2024-25 academic year. We would love to share our fully furnished, 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom renovated craftsman home with you. Our home sits on a large lot and has fantastic outdoor living spaces: a front porch and a custom-designed, screened-in back porch with areas for socializing and dining. Our new mudroom has hand-built cabinetry and open lockers for storing bags, coats, shoes, and more. The master bedroom has a queen bed, a walk in closet, and a large bathroom with jacuzzi bath tub (and shower). The other two bedrooms each have a full bed, a desk, and are connected by a jack-and-jill bathroom with twin vanities. The home also includes an office with a sleeper sofa. Our home is located in Inglewood, a neighborhood in East Nashville. It is a family-friendly neighborhood within walking distance of a great elementary school (Dan Mills) and Riverside Village, a commercial area with an excellent coffee shop, a pub, and a range of restaurants (pizza, Thai, French-Californian, tacos, and more). One of the things we love most about our neighborhood is the Shelby Bottoms Greenway and Natural Area, which includes many miles of paved trails for walking, running, and biking, as well as unpaved trails through the forest. The neighborhood has a grocery store (Kroger). And, beyond Inglewood, there is much to explore in East Nashville (coffee, food, music, drink, and more) and downtown. All of this is within a 10 minute drive and the city's universities are also nearby.
