Our home is located in Tacoma, Washington near the Proctor business district which includes grocery stores, coffee shops, retail, a public library, and the weekly farmers market. It is 6 blocks from the University of Puget Sound, a 10 minute drive to the University of Washington Tacoma campus, and a 25 minute drive to Pacific Lutheran University. The home has 5 bedrooms. Three of the rooms currently have beds and two are set up as office spaces. This configuration could be changed based on the renter's needs. There are 2.5 bathrooms. The first floor is an open floor plan with a large kitchen, living room, and dining room. The backyard has a patio with a table and chairs and is fenced with grass. We intend to rent the home fully furnished but we can be flexible based on the renter's needs. The bedrooms include beds (1 king, 1 queen, 1 double) and dressers and plentiful closet space. The primary bedroom has an attached bathroom and walk in closet as well as a view of Mt. Rainier from the window! Both offices include desks and chairs with closets for storage. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need. There is a detached garage which does not fit a car, but can be used for bikes and other storage. The monthly rent includes all utilities, internet, landscaping, and a cleaning service to come monthly. This is our family home and we are looking for a caring renter to live in the home for a year while we are on sabbatical. The house is close to the Tacoma waterfront and Point Defiance Park and several neighborhood parks including Jefferson Park. We love living in this neighborhood. There is a lot to do in downtown Tacoma and Seattle is about a 45 minute drive north and Olympia is about 35 minutes south.
