Bright, quiet and cozy apartment with balcony in Lyon (near Universities)

Description

Welcome to my home ! My apartment is spacious (71 m²), welcoming, well organized, and very bright. It is composed of a large west-facing living room, with access to the balcony. On the balcony, there is a table and two chairs, which is ideal for breakfast or dinner while watching the sunset. There is no building opposite, the view is unobstructed and overlooks the beautiful Basilica of Fourvière. The living room is equipped with a large library, a video projector, and a workspace (desk, large screen, lamp). The large bedroom has direct access to the balcony. It is equipped with a very comfortable queen size bed and large wardrobes. The guest room/child's room/office is equipped with a very comfortable double bed, built-in cupboards, and a workspace (sitting/standing desk, lamp). The kitchen is equipped and functional. You will find an oven, a fridge-freezer, ceramic hobs, a dishwasher, kitchen utensils, a table and chairs. When the view is clear, you can see Mont Blanc while drinking your morning coffee. The bathroom is small but renovated and functional, the space has been optimized with its walk-in shower and washing machine. The toilets are separate. The apartment has been recently renovated, all the paintings have been redone. Plants are placed everywhere, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The apartment is on the 7th and last floor (no neighbors above!), in a quiet and well-maintained building. We don't hear any noise from neighbors or those from the city. The area is peaceful, but you will find good restaurants nearby. The apartment is located in the 7th (Jean Jaures neighborhood) very close to the Universities (ENS Lyon, Université Lyon 2, emlyon business school), and even a 5-minute walk from the large and beautiful ENS library. The metro station is a 6-minute walk away (line B which crosses Lyon from North to South). You can do your shopping at the large Auchan supermarket located 6 minutes' walk away, in a few organic stores, and the small weekly food market. You can walk on the banks of the Rhône from the apartment, and take a nice walk to the Parc de Gerland (south) or to the city center (north). The tourist places are easily accessible from the apartment: Bellecour (14 min by metro), Vieux Lyon (16 min by metro), Parc de la Tête d'Or (23 min by metro or bus). If you have a car, I can rent you a place in the underground parking of the building. The price of the parking space is not included in the rent. Beautiful nature walks are possible 1 hour drive from the apartment (ex: Natural Park of Pilat) or accessible by bus (ex: Mont Thou).
