Beautiful, art-filled, centrally-located two-storey house with three bedrooms, two full baths, a well-appointed kitchen, and a large office. A light-filled open living room is entered from the attached front foyer, and the gem of a back yard is a private, fenced, parklike setting, with patio, raised beds, deck furniture and barbecue. There is also a lockable bike / lawn-equipment shed for your use. The front yard, on a friendly, tree-lined street, features a large perennial garden, next to parking for up to four vehicles. You will be a ten-minute drive or bike ride to Queen's University, Kingston's two hospitals, St. Lawrence College, or the downtown. It's also minutes to the scenic waterfront - Gord Downie Pier or Lake Ontario Park - and even closer to the YMCA (and pool), the Public Library, or Kingston Centre, with its grocery store, drug store, restaurants, pet stores and coffee shop. A bus stop to the downtown, Royal Military College, or Kingston Centre, is right across the street. Each tasteful, comfortable bedroom is provided with closet and drawer space, plus pillows, two sets of linens, and blankets (if you want them). We are open to your adapting any of the bedrooms for children (with consultation). The two smaller bedrooms have their own desks and shelf space, and the main office features a large desk, built-in bookshelves, a filing cabinet and printer. The well-stocked kitchen has a dishwasher, blender, food processor, microwave, all necessary dishes and glassware, and an excellent spice collection. The spacious living and dining rooms are cozy, and yet excellent for entertaining, with large table, loveseat, sofa bed, and piano. The washer and drier are in the basement, where there is also space for any extra storage or exercise equipment that you may need. (Please note that the owners will be storing some personal items and papers in separate locked spaces on each level.)
