- This is a well-maintained, fully-furnished home, only 7 minutes (or one long song away, as our kids say) drive from Penn State University Park campus. For those unable or unwilling to drive, the nearest bus station is 4-minute away by foot. The Nittany Mall, Walmart, Sam's club, and a number of restaurants are all within a walking distance. - Excellent for families. The neighbors are supernice, the neighborhood is quiet, and there is a big backyard for family activities, such as playing volleyball and badminton (and sledding when it snows). 12 minutes drive to the University Park airport. The house is located on a hill and the view is gorgeous. - Owned by Penn State affiliates, who will be away for a year on sabbatical. Therefore, we are looking to rent for at least 10 months (August to May), ideally 12 (August to July).
