This is a beautiful top floor apartment of a two-flat Chicago grey stone (which I own) in Andersonville. Andersonville is a sweet, easy, and pedestrian friendly neighborhood, which was actually voted the 2nd best neighborhood in the world by Time Out in 2021. It's a cozy neighborhood full of amenities (gyms, shops, antique and book stores, coffee shops, Whole Foods, restaurants, bars, park, and easy beach access) and with easy public transport access to all Chicago universities. The apartment is 3 bedrooms, but currently "dressed" with one queen bedroom, one guest room/study (with a fold out couch), and one office. I can add beds if/as needed. The living room and dining room have an open flow, which makes for great entertaining and easy living. High quality mid-century designer furniture, including a luxurious Milo Baughman sofa and a stately Florence Knoll green marble dining table that doubles as the world's best writing space, a very well stocked kitchen, books galore (especially art history books), and a nice collection of original art from both local and internationally renowned artists. Because the building sits on an extra wide lot, it is more comfortable than most Chicago architecture, and features windows on all four sides of the building, so it is extra bright. The wide angle camera lens distorts room shape somewhat, but all rooms are ample and brightly lit. The bedroom has black out shades for light sleepers. The newest and greatest feature of the unit is a rear sun room off the kitchen that opens fully with an accordion glass and steel window to a deck installed in 2022. There is also full back yard with grass and a grill, and a 3 car garage. One spot is included in the rent, and I can consider making a second available of an additional fee. The apartment is very quiet, on a tree lined, neighborly street, and very safe. There is also easy street parking and the "red line," which takes you downtown and beyond (as well as north to Evanston) is about a 6 minute walk. Please write with any and all questions.
