I am a recent graduate of City University and will be travelling a bit over the summer, so I'm looking to rent out my one bed apartment. The flat is in a great location close to Hackney Downs and Hackney Central Overground lines. It's about a 15 minute journey to Highbury and Islington or Liverpool Street stations, and 30 minutes from Holborn for Kings College/LSE. The area is really nice with a lot of shops, restaurants, bars and other things to investigate, although one of the things I like about the flat is that it's also quite quiet as it's not on a main road. There are also lots of parks nearby, it's about a 10 minute walk from Hackney Downs or London Fields parks and it's close to lots of canals or bigger green spaces like Epping Forest or Victoria park for longer walks and pottering. The flat itself has three main rooms, and a utility cupboard. The main living area is an open plan kitchen/dining and sitting room space, which also had floor to ceiling windows, so it's nice and light, especially in the summer. It's quite a new flat so the insulation is good, I rarely have to turn the heating on, though it can get a bit hot in the summer. The bedroom also has a desk in it and plenty of storage space. The bathroom is quite small, and only has a shower, no bath, but it's quite a nice design with granite flooring. The flat is really suitable for one person or for a couple as there is only one bedroom, but there is a sofa bed in the front room. I've mentioned that it would be great if whoever wanted to rent the flat also wanted to look after my cat while I'm away, he's pretty low maintenance, but I can also find someone else to look after him if you aren't a fan of cats. I'm just looking to cover the cost of my mortgage and utility bills while I'm away. I'm flexible on dates as I'm going to be away on a couple of different trips, so I can leave a bit earlier, or rent for slightly less time, but I'd ideally like to find someone to stay for the whole time.

Comments: This covers all bills, such as wifi, utilities and the maintenance charge for the building.
Comments: There isn't dedicated parking for the building, and I don't drive so not sure how easy it is, but it's a residential area so there are places to park close by.
I have a lovely cat, he is very relaxed and lives indoors. It would be great if you were able to look after him while I'm away so he doesn't have to move, but I can also find someone else for him to stay if needed.
There is a postbox downstairs by the front entrance, it would be great if you could collect the post from here every so often and just put it in the flat.
I have a few pot plants, they need watering weekly.
Comments: The flat would suit either a couple or one person.

Comments: I'm travelling for a couple of months, mostly June and July, and a bit of May but can be flexible on start and leave dates, especially for someone who wants to rent for the whole time.
