Tucked away in the quiet Bayou Saint John neighborhood of New Orleans, the cottage sits behind my 120-year-old house. Students will enjoy the easy commute to their university - Xavier, Dillard, and Louisiana State are 2.2 miles away; Loyola, the University of New Orleans and Southern 5 miles or less. The central location applies to many other points of interest in this historic city. We're just 2 blocks from scenic Bayou Saint John, 4 blocks from neighborhood restaurants and grocery stores, 1 mile from the historic French Quarter, and a few doors down from the famous Pal’s Lounge. The beautiful City Park and the New Orleans Museum of Art are also a short walk away. The back yard is the domain of the cottage - a newly-built bedroom and a new tiled bathroom are connected by a charming patio, all for the exclusive use of the tenant.
