Description

I am an arts administrator, who has decided to go away to do yoga teacher training. Now my young person has left home, it is time to throw life up in the air and see what lands. The layout of the unit is kitchen, lounge and laundry downstairs, and bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It is freshly painted, with a yellow feature wall. I have recently installed an induction stovetop and new oven. There is an office nook created by a pull out desk in the recently built rustic cupboard under the stairs (made from upcycled oregon timber), with a desk platform that raises and lowers your work station. There is a comfortable double bed. There is plenty is storage space for your things upstairs, including, two wardrobes and two sets of drawers, plus a large shelving unit. And downstairs, there are drawers and shelves in the large understair cupboard and also in the laundry. There is a reverse cylce air-conditioner, that I use for heating and cooling, along with a mobile oil-less column heater and an overhead fan upstairs. The bathroom is small and clean. It has a shower over the bathtub. The hotwate system is not large, so I tend not to take baths. Lastly, there is a washing machine. I usually dry clothes on a clothes rack upstairs under the overhead fan, or peg them out on the communal washing line. You are welcome to plant your own vegetables and herbs, there are plenty of communal garden beds available. The block of units is very quiet, my neighbours are friendly and kind and it feels safe. I love my home, garden and community, and hope you will too.
