The neighborhood: Our cheerful family and pet friendly home is well off the street. It is surrounded by mature trees and sits on a fully fenced grassy ¼ acre lot on a very quiet family and pet friendly street. Only a 10-minute walk to fully stocked Welcome Woods community store and small deli. You are minutes [walking or driving] from beautiful hiking trails swimmable beaches, Sargeant Bay Provincial Park, and Welcome Beach. The house is situated on bus route #4, with daily service 7:25m to 10:00pm with direct transfer to the Langdale Ferry. Your household will not be tied to a car. The quaint town of Sechelt is a 11-minute drive away. It has many locally sourced restaurants and coffee shops, craft pubs and cideries, good public library, rec center with beautiful indoor pool, and hospital. Local kids attend Halfmoon Bay Community School: https://halfmoon-bay.sd46.bc.ca/about-us/our-school/. The house: this is not an Air BnB house! Our home is clean, bright and cheerful. It has two main upstairs bedrooms with two queen beds. There are Ikea twin beds [not in photo] in the sunny walk out lower level. It would easily accommodate sleeping arrangements for six. The master bedroom is large enough to set up a private home office and study. The master bathroom has a bathtub and shower and laundry. The lower-level bathroom has a toilet and shower. The main floor has a power room. The lower-level rec room could be used as a 3rd bedroom, home office, or recreation room with couches and TV. The house is surrounded by glass and wood covered decks and verandas. Large driveway for parking. The main floor has a well-stocked galley kitchen and living room has a wood fireplace, bay window, and glass doors lead to a huge glass ceiling deck. There is a BBQ and very good WIFI.
