You are invited to enjoy a safe, lovely Gainesville 3bd/2ba 2100 sq ft private family home - a warm and welcoming home-away-from-home. Your tastefully decorated Florida Sunshine Room or Classic Vintage Room will provide you with privacy on off-duty days or after a hectic day at work. Or you may prefer to lounge in one of the two comfortable living rooms, screened porch, or on a chaise in the secluded backyard surrounded by giant oak trees where you can relax, catch up on your text messages, or just take in the gentle breeze. You might also enjoy a tranquil walk in the beautiful neighborhood where you will be greeted by neighbors walking their friendly dogs or exercise enthusiasts taking advantage of the nice weather. The rooms each have a desk and a smart TV with almost all the premiere movie, sports and local channels along with a large library of streaming movies that can be watched. Wi-Fi and unlimited high speed internet access are available in the rooms as well as throughout the house, on the porch and in the yard. The Florida Sunshine Room (for $845/month) has a daybed with a trundle so can be set up as a twin or double bed (with an additional $50/month fee). The Classic Vintage Room (for $895/month) has a queen size bed. The two rooms share a bathroom with a shower and tub as well as a shelf and drawers for you to store your personal hygiene necessities. A hair dryer, flat iron, curling iron and iron are provided for your use during your stay. Fluffy towels, soft 100% cotton linens, a lush comforter and an assortment of pillows exclusively for your use are provided during your stay. Cleaning supplies and housekeeping are provided for the common areas. Housemates are responsible for washing dishes or cookware used, straightening up the bathroom after use, cleanliness of your private bedroom, and changing bedding just as you would in your own home. A washing machine and dryer are available in the home and can be used once a week with your own supplies. Arrangements can also be made for laundry service for a fee. Preparing your meals in the full kitchen or on the barbecue is convenient with all the cookware, utensils, dishware and cutlery you might need. A small refrigerator is provided in your room. Access to space in a full size refrigerator, freezer and pantry are also available for your food, condiments and seasonings. Enjoy eating your meals in the dining room, on the porch, or comfortably in your room, or just grab a cup of coffee or tea on your way out or to sip while you rest or work at home around the house or in the yard. The home is shared with the owner, a mature professional female, and her five gentle and sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Needless to say, you MUST LOVE DOGS as the Cavaliers will certainly love you. To maintain the comfort of housemates, occasional short, pleasant guest visits are welcome with advanced notice and consideration for the schedules of others, but late night and overnight guests are not allowed (no one wants to wander into the kitchen in jammies for a late night snack or breakfast and find a stranger). There is off-street parking in the driveway and a bus stop within a short walking distance (half mile). Gainesville bus lines transport commuters to all major hospitals, universities/colleges, shopping malls, and veteran facilities in Gainesville. Travel time by car to all of these facilities and resources ranges from 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the time of day. There are many fun and interesting places to visit, eat, and tour in and around Gainesville - from inner tubing, kayaking and nature hikes to dance bars and antiquing - that take 5 minutes to 1.5 hours travel by car. Like the bus lines, local UBER service does a brisk business. If you need to be picked up from the Gainesville airport or bus station on your arrival day, or dropped off on your departure, complimentary transport can be arranged with sufficient notice.
